As the sun sets on yesterday
I can't help but wonder, will it all fade away?
Memories like shadows loosely in my mind,
Searching for answers I struggle to find.
Will yesterday matter in a future design?
Or will it just slip away like a forgotten rhyme?
Floating in the breeze, creeping in the night,
Will yesterday matter in the morning light?
The choices we make, the paths we choose
Leaves the regrets, and leaves us bruised.
Hearts that beat to the rhythm of time,
As we chase our dreams, like running from crime.
Will yesterday matter in a future design?
Or will it just slip away like a forgotten rhyme?
Floating in the breeze, creeping in the night,
Will yesterday matter in the morning light?
So we hold tight to moments we've known,
Hoping somehow they'll never be alone.
In the tapestry of life where memories lie,
Will yesterday matter, as we reach for the sky?
Will yesterday matter in a future design?
Or will it just slip away like a forgotten rhyme?
Floating in the breeze, creeping in the night,
Will yesterday matter in the morning light?
