You were the sunshine felt on a rainy day,
But now it's the dark clouds not guiding my way.
I gave you my heart, and then you took it away,
Now I'm left here in sadness, with nothing left to say.
You broke my heart, yeah with my spirit, left me shattered in pieces,
I just can't believe it, how could you be so heartless?
I'm picking up the fragments, trying to mend what's torn apart,
But you'll always be the one who broke my heart.
I thought we were forever, together hand in hand,
But now it's just memories, falling like grains of sand.
I replay the moments, the love that we had shared,
All I feel now is emptiness, with nothing but despair.
You broke my heart, yeah with my spirit, left me shattered in pieces,
I just can't believe it, how could you be so heartless?
I'm picking up the fragments, trying to mend what's torn apart,
But you'll always be the one who broke my heart.
I wear a smile on my face, though I hide all the pain.
Deep inside me, the wounds they still remain.
Somehow I'll find my strength, break free from these chains,
And someday I'll love again, but it will never be the same.
You broke my heart, yeah with my spirit, left me shattered in pieces,
I just can't believe it, how could you be so heartless?
I'm picking up the fragments, trying to mend what's torn apart,
But you'll always be the one who broke my heart.
